PSD Whiskey lived an incredible life as a police service dog and with his family. He was born on January 8, 2005 in Custer, Washington. He worked an extensive career in Kamloops for
8 years with 2 different handlers! A memorable achievement of Whiskey’s was taking more than 2.5 million dollars of narcotics off of the streets! His nature was kind and giving. He would often provide stuffed animals to kids in local schools and hospitals.
When Whiskey was young, he would try to bring his favorite blanket with him to work from his kennel as he absolutely adored it. He would destroy everything else in his kennel except that blanket. He and stuffed animals often didn’t get along (except for the ones he gave to kids). They would often meet their match during his reign at the detachment.
Whiskey recently passed away on January 2, 2020 due to old age finally catching up to him. He was shown endless love and support by his handler and family.
